New Release AMS 3.0.1

Version 3.0.1 has officially been released!

All new AMS signups from this point forward will have version 3.0.1 automatically installed.

Current clients will be offered to upgrade in the next upcoming days.


Changes from 2.1 to 3.0.1:

New Features:

  • AMS can now support multiple communities or support communities that use a structure that uses more than divisions/squads.
  • Customizable Alert Messages
  • Send Discord Alert Messages to Channels of your choosing
  • AWI’s own Xbox API
  • Revamped Settings Page
  • Revamped Usernotes
  • Revamped Users Page (Previously named User Permissions)
  • Add skills/trainings to members
  • Gamertag search now searches both the member list and blacklist/dnh list
  • Usernames, division names, squad names, and community names no longer have a character limit and can now be longer

Layout Changes

  • The menu bar now displays the current page you are on rather than collapsing and not displaying anything
  • Dates have been removed from the headings
  • Navigation breadcrumbs added to the page headings
  • Modal colors have been updated to be more modern or adjust if using the dark beta skin

Login Changes

  • When having to re-login, clients will be redirect to requested page instead of default dashboard after logging in

My Squad

  • To change a member’s name, you now have to click on their name which will display a new profile modal
    • Changing a name will also update their Xbox ID (xuid) if it is different than their current xuid
  • Ability to change a member’s network
  • Ability to add notes to users
    • Configure Rank/Group Permissions to specify what users can or cannot do or can or cannot read
  • New ability to add skills and trainings to members
  • New history tab that displays changes made
  • New previous names tab that displays previous name changes made in AMS

CMS Management

  • Added Community Management
  • If multiple leader divisions exists, they will show up individually
    • Division Management
      • You can set a division to be leader only if you want to create a new or separate leaders list
      • Each leaders list will have a separate edit link under CMS Management (and will only show if members have access to edit leaders list)
      • Leaders will still be viewed using the View Leaders List button
    • Edit Blacklist/DNH List
      • When adding members/communities to a list, the default alert message will display allowing you to edit the message if you choose
    • Users
      • The users permissions page has been renamed simply to Users and has been revamped
      • Click the username to edit a user’s permission
      • Added the ability to Permanently Remove a user’s account

Administration

  • Added a new tab called Discord Alerts under Administration -> Notifications
  • Users with access to this can send a Discord Alert to specified channels

Settings Page

  • Settings Overhaul – Changed to tabbed settings
    • Fixed settings page to utilize sliders instead of 1’s and 0’s.
  • General Tab
    • Added the ability to set custom default alert messages sent when someone is added to a “blacklist/DNH List”
    • Added the ability for communities to change the labels for community, divisions, squads, blacklist, DNH list
  • Customizations Tab
    • Communities can now customize ‘my squad’, ‘my division’, and ‘at a glance’ pages by enabling/disabling blocks
  • Discord Tab
    • AMS Bot created to easily add ‘channels’ to AMS once added to discord server via oAuth(No need to copy/paste webhooks anymore)
    • Communities can add their discord server and then add “channels” and set what messages each channel will or will not receive
  • Games Tab
    • Added the ability to ‘remove’ a game
  • Ranks/Groups
    • Consolidated the group permissions and ranks page into this new tab
    • Drag and drop a rank to reorder
    • Ability to “remove” ranks by clicking on the rank name
  • Skills/Trainings Tab
    • Add new skills or trainings that can be added to squad members
    • Option to remove skills/trainings (Skill/training will remain attached to member)
  • Xbox API Tab
    • We have created our own Xbox API and added this feature to the Xbox API tab on the settings page.
    • Clients can still use XboxAPI.com if they choose to do so, if both API’s are enabled, XboxAPI.com will be used instead.
